Student Leadership

Daly Grove School is a Leadership school, following many aspects of the Leader in Me Program. Leaders at Daly Grove have many opportunities to participate in extra curricular opportunities that enable everyone to share their leadership abilities. Staff members offer a variety of activities at noon hours and recesses to broaden children's experiences. These are done on a voluntary basis by our staff.

Daly Grove School offers the following extra curricular activities and clubs:

ATB Junior Bank, Bank Club

Students have the opportunity to open a bank account and deposit savings twice a month thereby learning about money management.  Students are also employees of the bank including the board of directors, tellers, greeters and other positions.

AMA Safety Patrollers

The Daly Grove AMA Student Patrollers are in grade 6 and are responsible for instructing, directing, and controlling the safe passage of Daly Grove students at the crosswalk at the beginning and end of the school day.


This club is for students in grades 3 - 6 who enjoy singing. Students meet and practice singing performing in various venues - City Hall, Festival of Trees, and during our School Concert and Peace Assemblies.


This club is for students in grades 6 who would like to take a leadership role in Music. This is a year long club that performs at many school functions. 

Intramurals Program

The goal of our Intramurals Program is provide opportunities for Grade 4-6 students to develop active, healthy lifestyles and practice sportsmanship. All division II students are encouraged to participate in our intramurals. During recesses throughout the year students play a variety of activities, such as, soccer, dodge ball and kickball.

Running Team

Students interested in running try-out for the running team and may have the opportunity to participate in out of school events such as The Edmonton Journal Indoor Games. This club is for Grades 4-6 students and is run over lunch.

Student Leadership Team

These are responsible students in Grade Six, who take a leadership role in the school by setting a good example in their own interactions. Students meet one or twice a month to plan activities for the school. These activities might include fun days, special lunches, acting as ambassadors for our school, and fundraising activities.
