Whether parents are volunteering in the school, participating in School Council or fundraising, or partnering with teachers by reinforcing and supporting school learning at home, we value our parents and caregivers as active partners in education.
Our School Council is a welcome addition to our learning community; School Council helps to support our learning journey for our students and provides parent voice and perspective on school programs, policies and other issues in education. As a parent of a student at Daly Grove, you are a member of the Daly Grove School Council and your voice is important.
School Council meetings are generally held once a month and all parents are invited to attend any meeting at any time in the school year. Meetings provide an opportunity to hear about what is happening at school, to ask questions and share ideas and opinions with school administrators.
Information about upcoming meetings can be found on.SchoolZone.
A fundraising association is a legally registered society under the Alberta Societies Act. Funds raised through an association can provide tremendous support for enhancing student learning and experience at school.
Our fundraising association is being re-established this year. As a school community, we look forward to opportunities for special fun lunches, artists in residence and other initiatives that add a variety of experiences for our students.
